Stephane Le Foll welcomes the recognition November 2, 2015 by the regional prefect of the first economic interest group environmental and forestry (IPF) in Rhône-Alpes. The IPF is carried by the free trade union association of forest management Ardèche Cévennes. It relies in particular on a simple plan of concerted management that brings together some fifty private forest owners or entities (joint ownership, civil society) on about 725 hectares of woodland and forest.----------------------------
The IPF is a new tool introduced by the law for the future of agriculture, food and forestry, 13 October 2014. It allows private forest owners sustainably manage their forests in a concerted manner while improving mobilisation wood and taking into account environmental issues at a given territory.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stéphane Le Foll hope that this first IPF opens the way for many other IPF in the Rhone Alps and throughout the territory.
